This is my first time blogging. Ever. It is 2018. Blogging has been around for the better part of 20 years now. Is it worth it that I begin one of my own so late in the game?
Truthfully, I have my doubts.
Videos and the blitz of memes and gifs in the past few years have, more or less, destroyed, IMO, people's interest in actually reading anything more than a few lines--no more than a paragraph or two. As a disclaimer (I hate disclaimers!), I must put forth that not all persons have ceased reading, both literature and online, but have instead succumbed to the ease of droning out to the visual aids of watching YouTube videos or the same gif replay over and over again until their face hurts from laughter or boredom.
